Requirements
- macOS 12 Monterey or later.
- Safari browser (comes with macOS)
How to use

Run the shortcut from the Shortcuts app.
– Tip: For quicker access, assign a keyboard shortcut
– I use Command + Shift + 2. - Click and drag to select the part of your screen you want to search.

The shortcut will automatically:
– Launch Safari
– Open Google Images
– Upload your screenshot
– Perform the search
– Delete the screenshot afterward
How to install
- Click the "Install here" button above to open the iCloud preview page for the shortcut.
- On the iCloud page, click the “Get Shortcut” button to open it in the Shortcuts app on your Mac.
- On first run, macOS may prompt you to grant permissions for screen capture and Safari automation — approve these when prompted.
Notes
- The shortcut uses AppleScript and system automation — allow the necessary permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- If the screenshot is too small, the shortcut will cancel automatically to avoid unintentional triggers.
- This shortcut only works on macOS, not iPhone or iPad.
